On Saturday, advocates gathered from around Central Texas and the country to call for non-penal alternatives to family detention. And in the Texas state legislature, HCR 95 is gaining momentum! Dora Olivo (Missouri City, Tx) and Marisa Marquez (Austin, Tx) have also signed on as co-authors.
